Alfa Romeo Figura - sunny dayby ~sk8nrail

So I'm FINALLY getting to post what I've been working on from last semester and a little over the summer. This was part of a sponsored competition from FIAT group. So here it is, my Alfa Romeo sports convertible concept, named "Figura" or "shape/figure" in Italian. Since Italian sports cars are known for their voluptuous shapes, I figured this was an appropriate name. It also comes from the Italian phrase "Bella Figure", meaning "cutting a good shape", or "good figure". The project received much praise from Alfa's chief designer.

Design Brief: Keeping with Alfa Romeo’s Italian heritage, design a sporty concept which maximizes the pleasure of driving while hinting at the next evolutionary leap in Alfa Romeo’s design language. Concept should show a connection to European culture, specifically eluding to the Italian sensibilities of car design.
